Underpaid

Redden has reportedly signed a two year deal worth $13 million. This is tremendous news for the Oilers, as even at $6.5 million a year, Pronger is now underpaid.

With the Leafs retaining McCabe, the defenceman free agent bonanza has shrunk consderably. I would not be suprised if Lidstrom stayed with Detroit, although I would at this point assume Chara and Jovonovski will fly their coops.

Luongo signed at $27/4 which means hes making $1 million more/year than his reported counter offer to Keenan. Congrats Luongo, welcome to your new defenceless team.
